Multiple blind rulings and corner decorations on front and back panels. Spines and extremities are sunned. Board panels are scuffed, stained and a bit grubby overall. Upper and lower edges at head and tail of board spines are split and fraying. Board edges are scuffed, fore-edge corners and immediate adjacent edges are rubbed through. Includes the large colored fold-out map of the South States in Part One; the left half is separated at the gutter fold; several additional closed tears and folds have been repaired with archival tape.
