Description: GREENWICH HOSPITAL THE TWO TOWERS LONDON C1867 Magic Lantern Slide EARLY PHOTO An early image of Victorian London from a set produced by York & son. Dated to the no later than 1867 ( but more likely earlier ) as the set included an image of the second " Her Majestys theatre " ( Now refered to " His Majestys theatre and being sold seperately ) which was destroyed by fire in 1867. Another slide from the set ( being sold seperately ) is of Kew Gardens temperate house and the title refers to it as the " New temperate house " but it was opended in 1863! The slide normally has a inner paper border and then the slide is then held together with edging paper.
