Green Giant Tomato Seeds | Heirloom

Description: (Indeterminate/85 days) Green Giant Tomato is an extremely rare German heirloom that is widely thought to be one of the best green when ripe varieties on the market; so much so that it has a cult following. It is a potato leaf plant that produces huge crops of 1-2 pound lime green tomatoes. The fruit are meaty with almost no seeds which makes it one of the best slicers, but is also the reason why it’s so rare. The taste is intense, complex, and very fruity. Do not plant out until 2 weeks after last frost. Tomato seeds require high soil temperatures for good germination rates. We highly recommend heat mats to ensure and speed up germination. Pot up to 3–4 inch pots when first true leaves develop (not cotyledon leaves). Harden off plants for 1-2 weeks in full sun before transplanting them outside (after last frost). Make sure to give tomato plants a lot of space for vigorous root and foliage growth.
