Description: Great Unusual Vintage 1950s Czech Gilt 900 Silver & Bohemian Garnet Bar Brooch This stunning brooch was hand made around the 1950s in former Czechoslovakia. It features a precisely worked gilt 900 Silver frame in the shape of an elongated horizontal oval with a central rosette adorned with hand cut deep red Bohemian garnets. The piece is in very good condition and can be worn immediately! This vintage beauty measures 1 7/8" long x 7/16" wide and weighs 6.3 grams. Stamped "900" for 90% silver and carrying the Czech "Rabbit" hallmark which indicates that the piece was manufactured between 1949 and 1962. It also carries an unidentified designer mark.
