The pads are in great condition because we replaced the pads in the process. It now plays cleanly and evenly up and down. This is a great starter bassoon, and because of the high quality Fox design, you will find that it will play better than many lesser quality wooden ones. One Fox 2C bocal is included with the instrument. Most of the plastic body has scratching . Couple of dings and chips Key plating has been polished. There is no plating wear.
