This listing is for a lovely 4-piece place setting service for eight (8) of vintage Gorham Sterling Silver flatware in the "Chantilly" pattern first issued in 1895 (a total of 32 pieces). Each piece is in excellent Estate condition with no noted damage. This is an assembled set with most of the silver marked with the old Gorham trademark stamp and "Sterling", some are marked "Pat, 1895, Sterling" and a few have newer marks "Gorham, Sterling" (as specified in the listing below). Set includes: (8) Place knives - Measure 9" long. Weigh 515 grams. (8) Place forks (6 new mark/1 old mark + Pat. 1895/1 old mark)- Measure 7" long. Weigh 370 grams. (8) Salad forks (4 old mark/4 new mark) - Measure 6 1/2" long. Weigh 300 grams. (8) Teaspoons (7 old mark/1 new mark) - Measure 5 3/4" long. Weigh 230 grams. Combined weight of this set (not including knives) is 950 grams. Total weight with knives 1465 grams.
