Description: Antique Gorham cast sterling silver .925, souvenir spoon, in the VERY RARE Chantilly Sorbets pattern, featuring a retriever DOG handle No. 640, which is NOT monogrammed. These spoons were named as such three years prior to the Chantilly flatware pattern. The spoon is marked with the Gorham Lion Anchor G mark Sterling only, measures approximately 5 1/8 inches long, & WEIGHS .485 ozt. The spoon is in very good antique estate condition; NO DENTS OR REPAIRS. THERE IS WORN BOWL WASH, LIGHT SCRATCHING & WEAR CONSISTENT WITH THE AGE OF THE PIECE & NORMAL USAGE. THERE IS GLARE & REFLECTION IN SOME OF THE 13 PHOTOS.
