Description: A stunning Victorian antique leather lewellery box dating back to the late 1890. This beautiful example is crafted from high-quality oak-grain rich burgundy leather with a lovely patina. It features brass hardware and a Bramah lock, though unfortunately, no key. The top of the box is embossed with the owner's name "A.B. Dunkan, 29th May 1899." It is speculated that this item may have belonged to the renowned Canadian photographer Andrew Bennett Dunkan, who was active during that era. Inside the box, there are two trays: one for jewellery and the other for watches, both lined with original burgundy velvet.
