This quilt in the Starburst pattern is very well constructed, hand quilted throughout with small even stitches and meticulous piecing of complimentary shades of blue fabrics with a white center background making an exquisite design. The top edge is straight, there are three stars at the top that sit on top of the pillows (pillow return) and the other 3 edges are scalloped with fancy hearts hand quilted around the outside edge of the Starburst in the main design. Hand sewn binding around all 4 edges.. With washable fabrics these quilts are easy to care for, heirloom worthy and with a little care will retain value, unlike mass produced goods.
