Description: Hickory wood shafted golf club, illegal "backspin," MacGregor Mashie-Niblick (7 iron loft) iron head made by and stamped The Crawford, MacGregor & Canby Co, Dayton, Ohio. Useable in hickory golf tournaments because it was made before 1935. The deep club face groves would not meet today's USGA design standards for USGA ruled play. Restored to playable condition with a new black Elk hide soft leather grip with new red color whipping. Straight wood shaft. Head tight to shaft. A mashie-niblic is the 7-iron of old. It measures 36", today's standard 7-iron is 37". Excellent condition overall. Shaft straightened, new grip and whipping, and new hosel pin.
