Description: Here is the opportunity to enrich your First Day of Issue collection with a set of 84 envelopes issued by the Postal Commemorative Society from May 1981 to October 1983. The 84 envelopes are held in 2 albums. One album has 44 envelopes with stamps issued from May 21, 1981 to August 2, 1982. The other album has 40 envelopes with stamps issued from August 22, 1982 to October 28, 1983. Each envelope features a stamp with the First Day of Issue cancellation and a proof replica of that stamp plated with 22 kt gold. In addition, for each envelope there is an informative write-up describing the history of the stamp and its subject. The envelopes and stamps are in excellent condition, same as the day they were issued, never taken out of their protective pockets. The attached photos represent just a few of the envelopes in this collection. The collection is held in 2 albums with padded covers. Each album dimensions: about 11" x 10" x 4". The 2 albums together weigh about 12 pounds, rather heavy and consequently reasonably high shipping charges. You will receive the 2 albums illustrated in the attached photos. You will pay $15.00 for Ground Advantage shipping and tracking.
