Shipping costs are calculated by the cost to mail out the fish, and the supplies necessary to get them to you safely. I can also create a personalized "special order" listing to combine shipping charges before purchasing. You may also purchase directly as listed, but a personalized "special order" will forgo any extra shipping costs, and possible refunding. After your payment has cleared, your fish will begin the 24-48 hour fasting process. (Fish will be selected, inspected, monitored, and will begin fasting at this time. Fasting your fish helps maintain water quality during shipment.) I will not ship during extreme weather conditions or temperatures. I will check the weather forecast for the entire journey prior to shipping, (looking for ideal temps between 40-90F). Holidays may also delay orders. I will only ship domestic, to the lower 48 united states, no P.O. boxes. Please make sure your shipping information is correct before purchasing. Please allow a few hours for tracking info to update after you have received it. DOA policy/Live arrival guarantee: *For colder winter or hotter summer temperatures, and during times of high mail traffic volumes, Priority Mail Express is highly recommended. The DOA policy will apply ONLY if Priority Mail Express is chosen at checkout, when shipping outside of the ideal conditions (listed above).* If ideal conditions are met, I do guarantee USPS Priority Mail as well. This policy ONLY applies to the shipping period and is void once the shipping bag has been opened. In the event of a DOA, 2 clear photos showing the deceased fish in the unopened bag, must be submitted within the hour of the shipment received. (It is the responsibility of the buyer to be present and ready for the arrival of the package, on the first delivery attempt. Any orders held for pick up must be retrieved within 24 hours of arrival.) This policy only applies to the cost of the DOA fish and does not include shipping costs.
