Description: Golden Amber (Some Puce?) H. H. Warner's Tippecanoe Bitters Bottle Heres a fine example of a very popular American patent medicine. The Warners Tippecanoe was offered as both a dyspepsia medicine and as a bitters. The embossing on this one is strong and the color is a bright mixture of golden amber and, in some light, a bit of puce. Applied mushroom lip, base embossed Pat Nov 20 83 Rochester N.Y. A bit of lip edge roughness (see photos), but otherwise no chips or cracks and very clean. This is a a wonderful example of this historic bottle. About 9 1/2 inches tall. Thanks for looking.
