Description: Antique clothing button was produced in the 1800s. The front is decorated with a series of paisley-shaped designs, which are arranged in a pinwheel like pattern. The button features a thread-back backing, which has a thin copper wire run through it. I have left the wire in place, so it will be easy to mount on a display card. Please refer to the ruler pictured in the image for the exact size of the button. Overall condition: EXCELLENT..... The button looks to be in great shape, with no noticeable dents, cracks or other serious flaws. It will display quite beautifully. My mom -- Nancy Moran -- was a longtime member of the National Button Society, plus was active in several local button clubs in New York.
