Description: This 1940’s copy of Glinda of Oz by L Frank Baum is in very good+ condition. The binding is tight; gutters are tight and clean. The cover illustration shows minor wear and is complete; there are no color plates in this volume as they had been phased out of the Oz series around 1935. The spine shows a small tear above the “Z” in “Oz” (see pics). Featuring red cloth covers, and illustrated endpapers, it is clean throughout with no markings inside. Some slight foxing is apparent in the paper stock, as is typical. The cover measures 7” x 9.25”, the text block measures 9” x 6.4”, 312 pages. A lovely later copy in very good+ condition ready to join your collection.
