In 1975, Mr. Armani accepted an offer from Florence Sculpture d'Arte working exclusively for their studio with complete artistic freedom. For the following 31 years he created beautiful masterpieces ranging from traditional Capodimonte styling to more modern, contemporary sculptures. Armani produced 6 of these paintings in a limited quantity of 675. They are numbered from 100-105A: Lady with Peacock 100A Lady with Mirror 101A La Pieta 102A The embrace 103A Wind Song 104A Abiding Love 105A Each was chosen because of their popularity with collectors and because Mr. Armani believed that these sculptures make the dramatic transition from 3 to 2 dimensions. The 100% canvas is prepared by hand. It is stretched on the frame. A material is applied to the canvas which preps it to receive paint. The painting is created through the process of pressing pigment in the canvas at high pressure and will not crack or crumble or fade or yellow.
