Gimbels Mid Century Coat Size L ? Beige Wool Fur Collar Button Front Knee Length

Description: Gimbels Mid Century Ladies Coat. Most vintage clothing does not have a size tag, this coat fits me, I normally wear a Medium to Large depending on cut. I am providing measurements for you to make a decision as to fit. From armpit to armpit, measurement is 22.5" (X 2 = 45" chest size), shoulder to hem measurement is 37" (which is knee length on me), Shoulder to Shoulder is 22". Coat is beige 100% wool (Label says 70% because of Fur Collar) with 30% Fur Fiber (does not specify what type of Fur). One side label has the following (Photo 11) - TAJAH 70% WOOL 30% Fur Fiber, Luxury loomed by EINIGER, Penn Craft Exclusive. There is also another label (Photo 9 & 10) that has the following information - Int'l Ladies Garment Workers Union AFL-CIO, the back of this label has 985946 (Coat & Suit Factory). Coat is 3 button front, with 2 pockets. I believe the lining to be Satin from researching the garment. Sophie Gimbel was the in house designer for Saks Fifth Avenue Salone Moderne in New York City, an innovator of Mid Century Fashion. From research I believe the coat was made between the 1940's-50's (but I am no expert), I do know from the labels that it is Mid Century. Coat is in overall beautiful condition, no holes or tears, the pockets threading on side is starting to come lose (Photo 4) & will need to be repaired, The coat has some staining on lining (Photos 8 & 12 show a few spots & there are a few additional ones), so the coat will need to be cleaned & I have not had it cleaned so it definitely would need to be cleaned.
