If you're a fan of Guns N' Roses or Velvet Revolver, you're probably familiar with the guitar Slash named "Jessica." The Jessica has been Slash's main stage guitar since 1988. The original Jessica was a factory second, one of two Les Pauls Gibson sent to Slash in the late '80s. Now, we're releasing a new model based on Slash's beloved guitar: the Slash "Jessica" Les Paul Standard. It features a non-weight-relief mahogany body with a three-piece plain maple top and a '50s vintage-profile mahogany neck. The original was a bright cherry sunburst, but this guitar has been refinished to perfectly recreate the color of Slash's beloved guitar. The pickups are Custom Burstbucker pickups with Alnico 2 magnets, which have also been used in previous Slash signature models. Other familiar features include hand-wired electronics with Orange Drop capacitors, a truss rod cover that reproduces Slash's signature, and pre-installed Schaller strap locks. Other features include a USA leather strap, multi-tool, and a blank truss rod cover. Comes in a hardshell case.
