Description: No bad symbols - Approved by German government for public wear since 1957! RARE German WW2 1957 Veteran Bundeswehr Ribbon Bar. Listing includes: 1x Ribbon bar or “Feldspange” with 4 x 1957 German awards, including miniatures of the German Cross in Gold, Close Combat Clasp in GOLD, Wound Badge in Black, and the Infantry Assault Badge in Silver and all attached to the matching ribbons where appropriate. NOTE: This highly decorated German WWII Infantry Veteran earned the Close Combat Clasp in GOLD for over 50 days of hand-to-hand fighting (Only some 600+ Germans earned it WWII) and was awarded the German Cross in Gold (which was approved to be issued to recipients of the CCCiG as an impact award). This makes this a fairly rare combination. Interestingly this veteran opted for the Less is More approach when it came to displaying his WWII awards as he obviously had more (he had at least earned the Iron Crosses I and II classes to be awarded the GCiG), but I guess those four awards says it all - He was Front Line Fighter!
