Description: Offered is the vintage book "Georgia Rivers", published by the University of Georgia Press in Athens. The book, containing articles from the Atlanta Journal and Constitution Magazine, was edited by George Hatcher. It has a copyright date of 1962 and appears to be a first edition. There are many black and white photos and several maps. This is an uncommon find; at the time of original listing I could not find any others for sale on eBay that were not modern reprints. The book is approx. 8 7/8" x 5 3/4" and contains 76 pages. It is in good condition. The blue hard cover has almost no wear but is slightly faded, with some browning. The gold words on the front and spine are only partially shiny. There is no cracking inside either the front or back covers. The white endpapers have yellowed and have some foxing, including a small brown spot on the front endpaper. I see no missing or torn pages and all the pages are well-attached to the binding. The pages have yellowed slightly and there is some light foxing throughout. I see no writing in the book. I have a lot of experience with vintage and antique books but am not an expert so please let me know if my description is missing information and you have additional questions.
