Description: Up for sale is a Chromolithograph Caricature of two fashionable women, possibly Socialites, in the French Society. This work was by popular CaricaturistGeorges Goursat (1863-1934), who signed his work as “SEM. “ He worked through the French Belle Époque Period. The work is in fair vintage condition. There is a long crease that runs through the work. The crease or crack came about because of the brittleness of the paper from age. The crease in parts is opened as a tear. Tiny yellow stickers were placed on the noteworthy damaged spots when photographing. This artwork will display well in a frame and under glass. Please view all photographs for more description. It will be mailed flat and between cardboard.
