Description: Magnificent First Edition, which came out in 1994, and was limited to ONLY 5000 Copies!! Ahead of his time Photographer George Platt Lynes, had a knack for integrating different and fascinating elements into his Books. He was heavy on taking rich B&W photos of the famous of the 20th Century, and sprinkled in with many handsome young men. Book is mesmerizing in how it presents very rich and dynamic photography, covering the celebrities of an earlier age, and some very frank portraits of men who wanted to lift the veil ever so slightly on their sexual preference. He just gets to the soul of these subjects, with very crisp plates in the extremely oversized monograph~!!! (11 by 14 inches!) The process here used sheet-fed gravure method on uncoated paper stock. The book was designed by Jack Woody. There is some wear to the Dust jacket, particularly the middle front top edge, and please see Pic 3 for a slight imperfection on the left edge of the paper on one page. Other than that, the interior is Outstanding in it's Condition~!!!! I ALWAYS ship in a BOX, stuffed thoroughly with Bubble Wrap~!!! For me there can Never be too much Bubble Wrap!
