This part is from a Gastobac cast iron tobacco burner where the flame came out. Rusty patina all over and some red. See photos for condition. These are becoming harder and harder to find due to land development. This piece is unusual because it has "CH RLOTTE N.C." text on it. Raised letters on base "BRIGHT LEAF" Letters on the top "PATENTED" "GASTOBAC" "CH RLOTTE N.C." (The "A" is fully worn off) Material is cast iron, might have been painted red at one time. Approximate Dimensions: About 5 1/2 inches tall x top diameter about 3 1/2 inches x bottom diameter about 2 3/4 inches Weight: 2 pounds 10 ounces I find all my stuff at yard sales, moving sales, and estate sales.
