Hard cover with dust jacket (DJ). See photos for condition. DJ is heavily worn. Has multiple few inch long rips around the spine and board edges. Has a large rip in the middle of the spine, with a ~2 inch chunk hanging on. Has surface staining - blotching, foxing, darkening due to grime. Still holding together in one piece. The paper wrapping the hardcover boards is ripped/receding around the board edges, and most heavily around the board corners, exposing the boards underneath. The boards have some staining - most notable on back board, where there is brownish splotching. The fabric around the spine has some foxing. The spine has a slight forward lean to it. Edges of the text block have some staining. The binding is loose from age. It's holding together well, but there is splitting in the gutters throughout. Some pages throughout have small, dot-shaped stains, some of which appear to be ink bleed. Edges of pages are toning. Some page edges have dings. Pages appear free of writing, highlighting, or other markings (other than on the front endsheet, where there is some writing from previous owners). No pages appear to be missing.
