Covers still have their plastic protectors attached, as seen in photos. Each volume has a Table of Contents, beautiful color illustrations, and each book measures about 6” x 9 ½.” Box has leather design, with gilt lettering and 4 raised bands. Set weighs over 9 pounds. Plastic protectors are torn, as seen in photos. Pages are secure to the spines/binding. No creases, tears, marks, or writing to pages; has some light soil spots, and some separation between front end papers in Volumes I & II. Box has some wear from ordinary age, mainly around corners and edges.Note that I have described the books as best as I can.
