Description: G SCALE DOUBLE LOCOMOTIVE MAINTENANCE SHED Built for use with 1:20.3, 1:22.5, 1:24, or 1:29 scale trains, this weather resistant maintenance shed will add a ton of character to any line. Also a perfect way to protect your precious motive power from the elements. Built from exterior with a PVC roof and foundation, this weather resistant building has been assembled using galvanized fasteners and waterproof adhesives, then it was finished with exterior grade paints and penetrating stains for additional protection and a weathered look. The shed measures 25" wide by 38 1/2" long, and it stands 17" high, not including the removable smoke stacks. The inside dimension, from door to door, is 35" in length. Four sets of functional double doors swing on brass hinges, and doors can be easily removed if an open air, run through shed is preferred. Durable, water proof PVC foundation and footers won't rot or wick moisture, and have been carved for the look of quarried stone. Large windows allow lots of light in or out and makes for easy viewing of building interior. Open base design allows this structure to easily be placed over existing track or occasionally removed for track maintenance, etc. The roof is also waterproof PVC, and has been embossed and painted for the look of weathered metal roofing. This structure ships in two sections that can easily be connected into one, solid unit with the included hardware, or the two sections can be displayed side by side. The side by side option would work well if you're using the shed as an entrance to a train building or wall to another room, but the full on piece unit is probably more practical for most situations. Integrated low voltage lighting includes a heavy duty copper harness and 10 lights wired in parallel with soldered connections. No power source or external wiring is included, but you can easily connect this building to just about any low voltage power source, including track, accessory, or landscape lighting systems. 18 volts max., but about 12volts is perfect. Engine shed includes four removable smoke stacks and hardware to connect the two sections. This listing is for the locomotive shed and the above mentioned accessories only.
