Description: Cruise Night at Fuddruckers Saugus, Massachusetts ---------------------------------------------------- Fuddruckers is a restaurant chain which was founded in San Antonio, TX by Philip Romano with the mission to offer large hamburgers in which the meat is ground, and the buns are baked, on site, and all the accompanying vegetables are fresh and plentiful. Romano sold the company in 1988 and there have been several owners since his time. The chain grew to having more than 200 restaurants and the company has been head quartered in North Andover, Beverly, Wakefield and Danvers, MA as well as several locations in TX. In the 1990s, the restaurant, in addition to many US locations, expanded into Canada, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Dominican Republic, Italy, Poland and Switzerland. Today, although all the European Fuddruckers have closed, there are approximately 164 restaurants across the United States, in Canada, Puerto Rico, Panama and Mexico and another 33 in a number of countries in the Middle East. Fuddruckers is owned by the Black Titan Franchise Systems, LLC. The Fuddruckers’s logo says “World’s Greatest Hamburgers” and its owners are obsessed with using high quality, fresh, never frozen, 100% USDA All-American premium-cut beef. Of course, they place their World’s Greatest Hamburgers on their own fresh World’s Best Buns! To enjoy a delicious meal at Fuddruckers, you will find many locations particularly in TX, VA, SC, NM, NJ, NV, MT and FL. A number of other states have Fuddruckers as well; including MA, on the North Shore in the town of Reading. For those gear heads who loved their car shows and cruise nights at the Saugus, MA Fuddruckers, sadly that restaurant is now closed but you may still enjoy a World’s Greatest Hamburger by taking the 7 mile trek to Reading, MA. MacGregor Jr. Watercolors Nautical Chart ArtistWilliam B. MacGregor, Jr. was born in Medfield, MA, the son and grandson of Norfolk Hunt Club kennel masters. Many of his family members were self taught artists, woodcarvers, automobile mechanics and veterans of foreign wars including his father a WW1 US Army veteran. Bill is a graduate of Medfield High School, Wentworth Institute, and Northeastern University. His engineering career, from which he is now retired, included working for military and aerospace companies in industrial engineering and IR optics. His painting incorporates “old skool” mechanical and civil drafting tools and he uses a mixed medium of watercolors, acrylics and inks. Two rabbits are often in quite a few of his paintings. Look for them. He is frequently commissioned by United States Naval officers to create paintings of their ships and aircraft carriers on nautical charts. In May, 2018, and for one year, four of Bill’s automotive related paintings were on display at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline, MA
