Description: Fritz Pfister Zurich Blue Soda Seltzer Water Siphon Bottle Vintage 14" This is a wonderful antique seltzer bottle made in Zurich. It is very vintage with the original lid and siphon intact. It stands 14" tall and is large. It weighs almost 6 1/2lbs by itself. The lid is marked, "E. Pfister Zurich" on one side and "Carba Zurich" under the spout. The blue bottle has an acid etched logo on the front that reads, "Fritz Pfister Zurich" with a shield. The lid was too tight for me to remove and there is just a bit of water inside. The blue glass itself has a light swirl design in the glass where you can feel the small swirl lines on the outside. It seams to be very clear glass. I purchased a small collection of Seltzer bottles from an estate with folks that traveled over seas and have bottles from all over. Please view my other items.Item is in very good condition. The bottle has wear to the underneath base ring where it slid across a counter, some small minor bumps and bruises from use over the years - mainly at the lower base which juts out, and has a film inside. I did not try to clean it - it is in as found condition. The metal top is showing it's age and is no longer bright and shiny but still looks very usable. I could not get it apart, and the metal looks like someone used pliers before me to open it as there are bite marks on the lower ring. Please view the photos for a better description.
