An image of skeleton Frida is sitting with a paintbrush in hand. She is recreating a painting by her husband, Diego Rivera, which is called Nude with Calla Lilies. There is papel picado (punched paper in bright colors) hanging from the wall and Mexico’s Patron Saint, the Virgin of Guadalupe, in the cloud. The words are loosely translated as follows: “In Diego and Frida's blue house, Frida's spirit still appears. She continues to appear in their house, painting and doing other things.
