Description: French Engraved Table Bell Crane Bird Handle 950 Sterling Silver 1870s Antique French export 950 sterling silver table bell, having figural handle in form of a crane bird. Body is decorated with engraved floral patterns. c. 1870-1880. This incredible bell is 2 5/16" in diameter, 2" tall with 2 1/2" long handle and weighs 141.5 grams or 4.56 ozs Troy. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
