Description: Franklin Mint Armour WWll German Junkers JU- 52 "Crete". ,B11B639 1:48. NIB.. Franklin Mint went through extreme efforts to provide superbly designed and accurate detail with all of their diecast planes. This is s very nice example of a German WWll Junkers long range heavy bomber that was involved in the invasion of Crete in 1941. Hand painted in Mediterranean camouflage it was the Luftwaffe's best "heavy bomber" and experienced great success throughout WWll. The plane is new in the box and never displayed. It also has the original COA. The box is in good shape with signs of shelve wear and light creases. These historic planes are no longer produced and have been retired long ago. These LARGE examples are quite impressive. Sadly......reducing my collection. Thanks for looking Note...the front cardboard cover for the clear plastic and one of the five blue caps that help keep the box together was never delivered from the factory with the plane. I have extras if needed.
