Description: A beautiful collectible set of four U.S. postage stamps issued in 1945 as a memorial to Franklin Delano Roosevelt (1882-1945) who had recently passed away unexpectedly. This was the fourth of four stamps issued in 1945 and commemorates the Four Freedoms State of the Union Speech he gave January, 6th, 1941. These stamps have never been used and are as fresh as the day they were sold at the Post Office almost 80 years ago! Suitable for framing, they would make a great gift for any FDR memorabilia collector or any one interested in Presidential history! Look in my other auctions for stamp blocks of historical significance including three other blocks issued in 1945 as a memorial to FDR, blocks featuring Mrs. Roosevelt! All stamps are Mint Never Hinged. Shipping is $1.00 for first class mail. Additional stamp block auctions won, paid for in one COMBINED transaction and shipped at the same time are only 25 cents extra per auction (sheets and booklets not included), with a maximum shipping charge of $5.00, no matter how many auctions you win. Please pay for all of your auctions in one payment. All payments are to be in US currency only. I send stamps out when I receive your payment or the day after if the mail has already gone out. Thanks for looking at my auction. If you have any questions, please email me before bidding.
