The theme of the card is Legends of Minor League Baseball. According to the comprehensive Beckett Baseball Card Alphabetical Checklist book, barely a dozen baseball cards were issued depicting this man prior to Little Sun's commemorative card. This Little Sun card was illustrated by Michael Guccione, logo design by William Scaff and produced by Terry Cannon.
