Description: Frank Lloyd Wright might be one of the best known architects in America. Liberty Graphics once carried a line of shirts authorized by the Frank Lloyd Foundation. This was discontinued some years ago and I have limited new inventory from that FLW Collection. Sited on a hill in the Wisconsin Valley settled by Mr Wright's mother's family., Taliesin is named after a 6th century Welsh poet whose name translates as "shining" or "radiant" brow. Begun in 1911, Taliesin is the realization of many of Mr. Wright's ideas pertaining to organic architecture. The building was rebuilt following a fire in 1914, and again after another fire in 1925. The Taliesin Fellowship, an association of architects, architecture students and designers was begun here in 1932. Some of Mr. Wright's most famous buildings had design origins at Taliesin, among them Fallingwater and the administration building of S.C. Johnson. Liberty graphics is known for attention to detail, consistent quality and concern for the environment. To acknowledge the last they use water based inks that are long lasting but easier on the environment. Made from 100% cotton knit fabric, this shirt is preshrunk, heavyweight, non-iron, wrinkle-resistant, and suitable for all seasons.
