They are certified originals carefully removed from the iconic PUNCH magazine, mounted in modern minimalistic matt black wooden frames … properly proportioned to highlight the artwork, with a generous side border and oversized top and bottom borders to give them the professional naturally balanced appearance. Fitted with premium 2mm picture glass, a thick acid-free bevel cut mounting board in your choice of black or white, and finished off with a rigid 2mm hardboard backing fitted with integrated metal brackets for easy hanging. The main image shown here is a scan of the actual item you will receive superimposed over a dimensionally accurate representation of the frame. Condition I don’t think you’ll find better. The source magazines have been stored in dark cool dry conditions for around 60 years, so still exude surprisingly bright colours and strong black ink printing. Expect some sign of their age though – such as slight yellowing of the paper, maybe a staple hole mark – all features that enhance the authenticity. Double Sided Availability PUNCH magazines were sometimes printed with collectable artwork on both sides of a page. In these cases I may have listed both sides as individually available, but this does mean that when one side is sold the other is discontinued. Delivery I normally despatch the same day, or next working day if received after 2pm. The frames are individually protected in strong purpose-made cardboard boxes and sent out by 2nd Class Royal Mail to UK addresses (certificate of posting kept).
