Description: Born in Glenamaddy, Co. Galway, Kevin Rafferty was ordained in 1962 as a member of the Vincentian Community. He served as Head of Religious Studies in St. Mary's University College, Strawberry Hill London, was President of All Hallows College, Dublin and Provincial Leader of Irish Vincentians. He took a passionate interest in church developments after the Second Vatican Council, especially in their implications for European evangelization. His various appointments, and perhaps particularly his time as President of All Hallows, provided him with an opportunity to make his own distinctive contribution to the building of that road.
