Fourth Book of Occult Philosophy by Agrippa - original RARE 1655 grimoire

Description: The Fourth Book of Occult Philosophy by Henry Cornelius Agrippa is considered one of the cornerstones of Western magic, and the grimoires it contains are among the most important that exist in the Western tradition. For more than three hundred years, this mysterious tome has been regarded as one of the most cherished first editions. This complete edition is the first English translation done by Robert Turner in 1655. This particular edition was purchased on auction several years ago from Appleby Castle in Appleby-In-Westmorland, England. I later purchased it from the the auction winner. The book is beautifully rebound in genuine black leather. The leather grain is visible in the photos. Damaged page edges have been repaired as shown in the photos. It came with the professional, blue clam shell case that is lined in felt. You may not find a better example of this volume given it is 369 years old!
