This isolator is made to our specification, quality machined with perfectly aligned and snug pin holes unlike some aftermarket brands. Made from a pre-lubricated oil filled nylon replacing the OE spring coupler that is renowned for failing. Where you see our logo you can be sure of quality. Years: 2003, 2004 Sale Includes: - Oil filled solid supercharger coupler Coupler/Isolator Failures: The coupler/isolator connects the snout drive to the rotors inside and is usually of a sprung type. When failing in most cases a rattle from the supercharger is heard, in total failure you will lose power and drive to the supercharger. If you are experiencing these symptoms it could be your coupler but in some cases you may find it is wear in the supercharger bearings. We always advise inspecting the isolator thoroughly, common failures are broken springs and cracked plastic. Look carefully as hairline cracks will open up when in service, this also applies to ageing solid couplers. If on inspection you can't find any failure you may wish to refurb the bearings with one of our bearing kits or take advantage of our rebuild services.
