Description: This auction is to offer for sale sets of Shell Lifters. These can be used in ALL FE Ford engines, 332 thru 428. SHELL LIFTERS(USA Made!!), are Hollow, and weigh MUCH LESS than Standard, or Dumbell, Lifters. Less weight means quicker response, more RPM, better Valve Control, and less wear. This is why FORD developed SHELL Lifters for their 427 NASCAR programs. These are Mechanical lifters(like regular SOLID lifters), and will require occasional valve adjustment. These are NOT Hydraulic Lifters. These require the use of a Special Pushrod, which I sell on another current auction. I also offer BOTH Shell Lifters and the correct 'LONG' PushRods as a Kit on a third current auction, at a savings if bought together. It WILL be worth the effort to use these!! I haven't used a 'normal' type sold lifter on an FE engine for decades. You won't either once you try these!! Payment required within 10 days of auctions end.
