Description: Primary Cover Gasket & Seal Kit for 1989~1999 Evo Softail & Dyna Pkg of 1 kit - Part# 38143fmK (Ref. OEM 60539-89 and 60539-94) *Please see our other store listings or contact us for other kits - all at great prices! This gasket kit includes all the gaskets, seals and O-rings shown in the photo. The larger but thinner O-ring is the inner primary seal. The thicker O-ring fits the Evo 3-hole derby cover. If you would like a new foamet derby cover as well, please see another one of our listing that includes it (It's cheaper to get the derby gasket included in a kit instead of buying it separately - and no extra shipping charge.) All the flat gaskets are "foamet" - The primary (chain) cover gasket, the inspection cover gasket and even the two spacer washers ("tower washers") are "Foamet", which is rubber on both sides of a steel core. This kind of gasket construction - which is sometimes called AFM - provides a superior seal and you do not need to apply any sealant. The spacer washers - The 2 spacer washers (used from 1994-up) have an adhesive backing to keep them in place while you are installing the cover. In the photo one of the washers is turned over, showing the white peel-off covering the adhesive on the sticky side. Our products are brand new and made to high standards to meet or exceed OEM specifications. Applications:* 1989-1999 Softail & Dyna Evo *1999 Evo is OK! But the kit is not perfect for the 1999 Twin Cam only because the derby O-ring is the wrong size for the Twin Cam 5-hole derby cover. Please see other listings of our for Twin Cam primary kits. Features* Primary cover gasket is foamet - rubber on both sides of a steel core. Inspection cover gasket is also foamet - rubber on steel. The two spacers ("tower washers") are foamet with adhesive backing on one side. Inner-primary-to-mainshaft oil seal. 2 starter shaft oil seals - one for 1989-93, and one for 1994-up.
