Not only will this tool allow you to measure the length of the pushrod, but you can record its length for future duplication. This is extremely useful when setting up two or more heli’s of the same type of when re-building a heli after a crash. Also, this tool will allow you to build two identical pushrods at the same time. In addition this is the only tool that allows you to measure the distance between the link balls or pivot points and makes pushrods this same length. This is accomplished without changing anything on the tool insuring that all pushrods are the proper length and all controls are in the proper position. NOTE: This tool is used with a set of machinist calipers (not supplied), digital (recommended) or dial. A set of machinist calipers is a very precise tool and when used with the Ultimate ball link measuring tool, adds to their usefulness. Proper care and handling of both will greatly extend their useful life and precision. We have tested the Ultimate pushrod measuring tool on several sets of calipers. The picture shows the FMP Ultimate Pushrod Measuring tool installed on a set of digital caliper (not included). The FMP Ultimate Pushrod Measuring tool will fit calipers that are .125/3.0mm or less in thickness.
