Description: Fluorescent Mineral Collector Piece Featured here is an uncut medium size piece of red fluorescing Calcite from Bullard Peak, AZ. It would make a good addition to your awesome specimen collection. The first three photos are SW, and the last four are daylight. The dimensions of this piece are: up to 2-1/2" width by up to 2-3/4" length by up to 1-3/8" thick. The lot weighs about 7.3 ounces. We have included a shipping price on each auction item that is the cheapest and fastest way to ship it to you that we know of. If you win more than one auction item, you will be charged the highest listed shipping cost, then you receive $3.00 off the listed shipping cost of each additional item that you win. We use a 36 watt fluorescent lamp specifically designed for viewing displayed fluorescent minerals . The lamp was built and designed by "Way Too Cool" of AZ (they have a great website with lots of good info on fluorescent minerals and lamps). Our minerals are photographed dry, and no type of of photo enhancement is employed, as it appears under our lamp is how it photoed and is presented on our listings. We display shortwave photos first, then long wave photos. If the mineral does not fluoresce under one those waves, it will be noted in the listing. Please do not bid on these items if you intend to view them with a poster lamp, they will not fluoresce. They will fluoresce as shown if you are using a fluorescent mineral lamp, designed for that purpose. We do our best to represent the true colors of our materials. Please remember there are many factors to consider, such as how your computer monitor displays the photos. Also SW minerals will not fluoresce with most of the UV flashlights. 100% satisfaction is guaranteed however, any unsatisfactory items must be returned within 30 days.
