Description: This is a used Fluke 8000A Digital Multimeter (DMM) typically for bench use, and includes an internal battery and the Milliampere-Second option. No probes are included. The manual is available on the Fluke website. Cosmetically there are some imperfections (see photos) from normal wear and tear. The left-side handle mount is missing the silver-colored plate that says "PULL TO ROTATE". The front faceplate could use cleaning. The following four functions were spot checked: ACV, DCV, DC MA, Kohm. The voltages agreed with a cheapie Harbor Freight DMM to within 0.2%. The MA scale agreed to within 4%. The kOhm scale was spot checked against a 1% resistance substitution box and agreed well. This unit has the Milliampere-Second option which can come in handy the next time you need to test and qualify an x-ray machine. Since I don't have an x-ray machine, I did not test this function and don't know whether it works. The unit includes an internal NiCad battery that recharges when the unit is plugged in. I ran the unit on battery for 75 minutes and it was still going strong. The actual battery capacity is unknown. Thanks for looking.
