For the base color, I coated this sculpture in White Pearl, to get a delicate glossy surface ...then painted the petals in glossy Red with a metallic sheen, and at the end added accents with Gold (Rub'nBuff) This is an absolutely unique author's work, which will be a wonderful interior decoration.It is made like a real work of art. Story... In the process of working on the previous Sunflower sculpture, I had the idea to make a Mallow flower in the same style, which, together with the Sunflower, has traditionally always been a decoration of the Ukrainian yard. In its sculptural form, the Mallow Flower also closely resembles the well-known Hibiscus Flower ...they both come from the same mallow family.So, you can call it whatever you like.I prefer Mallow ...I like the way it sounds :) ...and that was the main idea. -------------------------------------- Size: The diameter of the spinning top shown in the photo is 125 mm.* On request, this decor can be made in other sizes and colors. -------------------------------------- Production Technique: FDM 3D-printed from PLA filament and hand-painted personally by the Author. * A huge advantage of Digital Sculpture and 3D-Printing is that the sculpture can be printed in a wide range of sizes!Unlike a cast sculpture, which is usually only made in one size that cannot be changed. ** PLA filament is one of the most popular and safe plastics used in 3D printing technology.PLA is biodegradable, biocompatible, and renewable thermoplastic polyester which is derived from natural sources.This material is safe to touch and handling, odorless and does not emit harmful substances. *** On the other hand, the FDM 3D printing technology also has its drawbacks, such as the impossibility of obtaining an absolutely clean and smooth surface. Since the 3D model is built in layers, the lines of these layers and some rough transitions of surfaces may be noticeable when looking closely (please see photos)However, I do my best to offer you the best possible quality of my artwork. -------------------------------------- * Please note, that this is not a child's toy! Although this Decorative Top can spin like a toy, it is not intended to use in this way and is made as a piece of art for interior decoration. I have many other versions of this spinning top, which are smaller in size, made of resin and spin very well ( so, please take a look at my other publications ) -------------------------------------- * Originality and Author's Signature As a sign of originality, each of my sculptures has my logo as the author's signature !!!The logo for the signature of my sculptures, I print on a resin 3D printer, with very high quality, which makes its forgery extremely difficult. Also, please note that this is not mass production, each copy of the sculpture I make myself mostly to order,so by buying my work, you will have a truly unique piece of art in your home. -------------------------------------- How to care Sculptures that are 3D printed from PLA plastic or Resin, do not require any special care.Just avoid prolonged exposure of the figurines to direct sunlight, ...because over time, like any plastic, the material may begin to dry out and become brittle. If you need to clean the surface from dust and dirt, then just use a soft cloth with warm water.* On unpainted figurines, you can use IPA (rubbing alcohol) to clean the surface. !!! Please do not use alcohol, solvent, or any other aggressive substance to clean the painted figures !!!Since they can dissolve varnish or paint and spoil the surface. * The same recommendations for figures made of Resin.The only difference is that resin figurines are usually always varnished or painted.Therefore, for cleaning figurines made from resin, please use only a soft cloth and water. If you treat the figurines as decorative items, they will delight you for years.
