Description: FIVE Vintage Schilling,McCormick,Durkee,& Crown Colony, Spice Tins ,1971,74,77,85,.These are just some of the many spices my wife has saved through the years.. The oldest so far is the Durkee ground Mace that most likely dates to 1970-71 and cost .29 cents. The graphics and logos are excellent. Durkee Famous Foods was in Cleveland Ohio. The next one is the Schilling Ground Nutmeg from 1974 and it looks like it cost .99 cents. This tin has great multi-colored graphics and was a product of McCormick & Co.Baltimore MD. The next two are from 1977 and the taller tin is Whole All Spice and cost .58 cents. The other one is the Schilling ground Cloves and again the same Baltimore company. The last tin is from the 1980s and is Crown Colony a product of Safeway stores Oakland,Ca.. This is Cream Tartar and is used for making meringue,Baked Alaska etc.As stated these outstanding tins have no sign of wear and all the graphics are superb.
