Description: Fitz and Floyd has made several Majolica reproductions based on Minton designs which I think they have slightly changed. This monkey has been finished with a HIGH GLOSS finish and the lights are reflecting off this finish and it looks like there could be chips where the light is reflecting. There are no chips! It is possible to look at other pictures and see that these reflections move around the figurine. A few years ago Majolica was the collectible to own, and I think the demand has cooled somewhat. Not sure when Fitz and Floyd introduced its Classics. And have noticed on Ebay that there are many different Majolica designs with the "Monkey" theme. It is about 8" wide and 7.5" tall.
