Description: In 1964, the U.S. Mint introduced the Kennedy Half Dollar as a tribute to John F. Kennedy. The obverse of each coin is similar the standard coin, but with the dual bicentennial dates “1776-1976.” The reverse of each coin was a special bicentennial design that can never be used again. In 2014, the U.S. Mint produced a limited edition of Kennedy Half Dollars in Uncirculated condition at both the Philadelphia and Denver mints. The 2014 Kennedy Half Dollar was not released into circulation but was made exclusively for collectors in a limited edition. This set comes in a vinyl folio along with a certificate of authenticity.
