Description: Non-combustible fireplace mantel shelf. This shelf is constructed using the proven "thin cast stone" manufacturing method to produce high quality, light weight, affordable non-combustible products. Made from a component mix of high strength special gypsum and fiberglass then formed in a preset mold. This shelf features a woodgrain surface texture to provide a realistic wood surface look but in a non-combustible material base. The shelf comes in two standard colors, Cedar Brown or Gray. The shelf can easily be finished on site by you in the color of your choice (seller can explain the easy process of applying the common finish on site) or for a small upcharge, you can request the shelf factory finished in the paint color of your choice. The size of the shelf is 60" long, 5" tall and 7.75" deep. The shelf has a hollow interior cavity which allows for easy installation. Two person installation is required. Simply secure the provided metal mounting bracket to your wall studs. Predrilling two screw holes in the top side portion of the shelf is required. When you lift the shelf up into place, the mounting bracket will now be inside the backside shelf cavity. Then simply screw down through the predrilled screw holes using the self tapping metal screws that are provided. Complete installation instructions are included. Touch up finish and a chip repair mix is also provided in with shelf. Important: Please allow up to 10 days to ship. These shelf units must ship truck freight secured to a shipping pallet.
