Description: I am offering for sale this Fine User Ca 1855 James & Co, MA 1-1/8" Hollow Moulding Plane Inv#GB44 This antique plane is marked on toe James & Co, MA. On the heel it has the number 61 & previous owners name. The plane is clean except for some checking on sole around mouth, stains to finish from age & use. The wedge is original and the plane has a great smooth feel and patina. The cutter measures 7-7/8 x 1-1/8", it would need to be sharpened for optimal use.
