Description: Fine and rare pair of antique 19th century Old Paris small covered porcelain gravy boats decorated with outstanding grey Neoclassical reclining figures en grisaille. Each with matching female and male classical figures on both sides of the body of the pieces and the lids with similar decoration. These are in great condition for their age with some minor wear to the gilt edges and gilt decoration. The grey images are in very good condition. No damage or repairs. Each measures 7 3/8" across the handles x 4 1/2" to the top of the finial x 4" deep.
